The building consists of the main hall and the Queen Elizabeth Meeting Room (formerly known as the Green Room), a small meetings room.  Wi-fi is available. The main hall is licensed for a maximum of 150 people at a dance and 200 for a seated performance.  There are twenty stacking tables each seating six people comfortably and 120 upholstered chairs.  The stage is equipped with curtains and  stage lighting, for which controls need to be requested at the time of booking the hall.  Both the main hall and green room are accessed via the entrance lobby.  This lobby also provides access to the kitchen, disabled WC and male and female WCs.

The spacious kitchen has a wide hatch serving the main hall.  It has a small electric cooker, a microwave, refrigerator, water boiler and double sinks.  There are cups, saucers and plates for around 60 people but no cutlery.  Separate but adjacent to this is an additional area with a hatch to the main hall for use as a bar.  It is the hirer’s responsibility to obtain the necessary licence if alcohol is to be sold at an event.

Location

The Village Hall is located on Meldreth High Street, on the corner with Elin Way (see map below).  The postcode is SG8 6LX.

Parking

To the rear of the building is a sizeable car park (entrance on the High Street).
